Reviews

Great body wash!

"We use this body wash exclusively as it lathers immensely with just a small amount on a body sponge. Martha Stewart uses it and highly recommends it so it’s a luxury we can afford! We keep a small bottle of it in our shower and refill it with the large bottle of the same."

Smells wonderful. I like using

"Smells wonderful. I like using AHA&BHA because it's very safe and I sweat a lot, so my pores can suffer. It helps my body acne and ingrown hairs AND!! my keritosis polaris. It doesn't sting at all, doesn't dry out my skin, and it lathers nicely. I don't have to use half the bottle for one wash. The smell isn't too strong, it's nice and light."

Q&A

Can this body wash be used by breastfeeding women?
We recommend bringing the product or list of ingredients to your doctor for approval before using any skin care products while pregnant or breastfeeding. We suggest this since recommended products or ingredients can vary slightly from doctor to doctor and only your physician knows your medical history.
Can I use this on my hair to remove stubborn oiliness?
Thanks for your question. A.H.A. Botanical Soap is not formulated for use in the hair. This product should only be used on the body. Our Chamomile Shampoo can be used to clarify oily scalps.
It says in the bottle that this body wash contains glycolic acid.. I’m wondering what percentage of glycolic acid it contains
Thanks for your question. We consider the exact concentrations of ingredients in the formulations of our products proprietary information. Since ingredients may have different functions in products depending upon their combination with other ingredients, the percentage of specific ingredients in any given product is not a measure of the ingredient's efficacy. It is the unique formula and technology that provides the desired result.
I would like clarification on the ingredients in this product. I see that under the “Key Ingredients” list this product contains Glycolic Acid, but it does not show glycolic acid in the full ingredients list. The bottle I currently have at home of this product lists Glycolic Acid in the ingredient list. Has this always been a typo? Did this body wash ever contain glycolic acid, or do I have an incorrect label? Please prove a clear/detailed response, as I would like to know if what I was using is a different formulation. Has the formulation changed? Thank you.
Thanks for your question. This product was reformulated to contain glycolic acid, which is reflected on the packaging and in the key ingredient notes on the website. Thank you for bearing with us as we transfer the updates to our website. Please be assured that the ingredients on the actual item are accurate.
I bought one a few months back it had lanolin in it which I read is from sheep....now I see it's not in the ingredients list....was this formula redesigned to be vegan friendly?
Thanks for your question. A.H.A. Botanical Body Soap is vegan!
